Our Lebküchnerei

Right on Nuremberg’s Hauptmarkt – where the world-famous Christkindlesmarkt takes place every Advent – lies our WickleinLebküchnerei. Here, in the very heart of the city, the tradition of Original Nuremberg Gingerbread began. No place could be more fitting for our flagship store.In our Lebküchnerei, you can discover the full variety of our specialties: from moist Elisen and delicate Oblaten gingerbread to creative new creations and seasonal pastries. In our cozy café, enjoy freshly baked gingerbread and other fine treats – accompanied by a selection of hot and cold beverages.

Our tip: Take in the view of the Frauenkirche and the legendary “Männleinlaufen,” the enchanting clockwork performance that delights visitors every day at noon.

Gingerbread Workshops

Shape, bake, and decorate your own Original Nuremberg Gingerbread, discover secret tricks, and listen to stories from more than 400 years of baking tradition.Our workshops are an unforgettable experience – whether with friends, family, or as a creative team event. You’ll bake your very own gingerbread, learn the traditional craft firsthand, and of course take your delicious creations home with you.

Workshop details:
· Monday to Thursday, 5:30–7:00 p.m.
· Price: €29.90 per person
· Duration: 1.5 hours
· Bookable for groups of 6 to 15 people

‍Note: No workshops will take place between November 15, 2025 andJanuary 6, 2026. From the new year onwards, bookings will be available again – we look forward to welcoming you!
